ATD2 : The DSP Monitor Company ATD2 is specialized in electro acoustics technologies and designs digital (and analogue) active monitors under the FAR Active Monitor brand. ATD2 also provides consultancy services related to audio processing and architecture. We had NXP Semiconductors as a happy customer. The ATD2 engineering team is constantly looking for innovative audio solutions in order to keep the high standard of its pioneering active technology. PIERRE THOMAS : Chief Executive Officer Pierre Thomas worked more than 10 years as a sound engineer. He is the founder and the general manager of the well-known company FAR (Fundamental Acoustic Research). Created in 1996, FAR was involved in the active monitor market and is nowadays one of the most recognized reference in the professional recording studio acoustic design. Pierre Thomas is also the designer of the passive CR20 and DBW80/200 monitors, which are still famous today. XAVIER LAMBRECHT : Chief Technology Officer Xavier Lambrecht holds a degree in electronics engineering from the University of Liège (Belgium). Prior to become a system architect at PHILIPS Digital System Laboratories in 2001, he worked about 10 years as an R&D engineer in the satellite industry. His experience in aerospace technologies and consumer electronics leads him to open new horizons in the professional audio industry. His new DSP based electronics have unrivalled audio performances and provides features that tremendously improve the user's experience.
